Role Overview
The Senior Consultant – GCC will independently manage end-to-end recruitment assignments across Middle East markets while driving business development and client acquisition. The role requires deep understanding of GCC hiring practices, strong candidate assessment skills, and the ability to build long-term relationships with CXOs and HR leaders. The consultant will play a critical role in expanding StepUp HR’s footprint across UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, and Kuwait.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Recruitment Delivery (GCC Focus)
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for mid–senior and leadership roles across industries in the GCC.
- Conduct competency-based assessments and candidate evaluations.
- Ensure high-quality and fast turnaround delivery through structured market mapping.
Business Development & Client Acquisition
- Identify, pitch, and acquire new clients across GCC markets.
- Develop proposals, negotiate terms, and secure recruitment mandates or retainers.
- Drive revenue targets through proactive outreach and lead generation.
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all client coordination and advisory matters.
- Conduct review meetings, understand hiring needs, and provide salary/talent insights.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across GCC organizations.
Talent Mapping & Market Intelligence
- Build talent pipelines and conduct market mapping for niche requirements.
- Stay updated on GCC employment norms, visa rules, and compensation structures.
- Share strategic hiring insights with clients.
Process Excellence & Delivery Management
- Lead delivery execution and ensure accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to timelines.
- Maintain ATS/CRM accuracy and compliance documentation.
- Improve sourcing strategies and internal recruitment processes.
Revenue, Targets & Reporting
- Achieve monthly and quarterly billing targets.
- Maintain dashboards, sales trackers, and forecasting sheets.
- Provide regular reporting to leadership on progress and opportunities.
Required Skills & Competencies
- 8–15 years of experience in GCC recruitment or executive search.
- Proven success in business development and client acquisition.
- Strong understanding of GCC work culture, job markets, and sector nuances.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Target-driven, disciplined, and capable of managing multiple mandates.
- Strong research, sourcing, and assessment capabilities.
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in HR, Business Management, or related fields.
